For this project, our clients envisioned a clean, modern landscape centered around a formal koi pond that would serve as both a striking focal point and a place to slow down and enjoy nature. Through our design process, we developed a detailed 3D rendering that allowed the homeowners to visualize the finished project before construction began and confidently refine every detail.
The completed design features a 20′ x 30′ x 3′ formal koi pond with crisp, contemporary lines that complement the home’s architecture. Floating stepping stones invite visitors to walk across the water and experience the pond from a unique perspective, creating an immersive connection with the landscape. A sculptural spillway bowl provides elegant movement and sound, while the integrated wetland filter and intake bay work behind the scenes to maintain exceptional water quality and support a healthy ecosystem for the koi.

The design features a raised paver patio with a recessed seating area surrounding a custom stone gas fire pit, architectural columns, a built-in gas grill, and integrated landscape lighting in the walls, step risers, and planting beds.
